BelleauWood Customer Rewards Program
First Customer Rewards Program in the Industry
At BelleauWood, we continually push the envelop in alpaca marketing and
promotion. We were the first in the industry to do an online newsletter
in 2000. We were one of the first to organize a joint regional Open
House Tour with the Fall Foliage Festival on the NY / VT border. We were
possibly the first farm to structure investment partnerships with the 3P
Paca Partnership Program. We were a very early adopter of AlpacaNation,
AlpacaNation Banner Advertising, and ASync sales listings. We were one
of the first to do e-mail marketing campaigns and one of the first to
have an online library of alpaca articles and an extensive website. We
were one of the first to use search engine natural placement and pay for
click placement. Last year, we introduced our First Annual Online
Holiday (& Tax Savings) Clearance Dutch Auction - that idea seems to
have been adopted quickly by the rest of the alpaca world for this
Holiday Season :o).
Hopefully, we have hit a winner again. New for 2007, we are the first
alpaca farm to introduce a Customer Rewards Program. Megan is the brain
child behind the new BelleauWood Rewards Program. I spent much of my
corporate career developing Loyalty & Retention programs and Customer
Segmentation Marketing. Megan grew up listening to me at home at night,
went to focus groups with me, accompanied me on speaking engagements
around the country and learned about Marketing & Customer Relationship
Management along the way. So, I wasn't surprised when she came up with
an idea that was at once genius and a no brainer. As soon as she said
it, it was obvious that there was a need for this to enhance our current
customer package and breeding discount program and appreciation
initiatives. |
